Spring is in the air!!
It must be getting warmer because today i am wearing my sandals!! I hear you all gasp, as it is still February but tomorrow its March and this means daffodils, new buds, the clocks going forward and a sense of great things to come such as the Queens Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics. These events do create a feeling of celebration and togetherness whether you join in or not.
I am working on a limited edition jewellery range using old stamps cast in resin and charms with the Jubilee in mind and will post images when the samples are complete. I will be taking a small range of these to the next trade fair that's up and coming BCTF and if you are a gallery owner and make it to the fair, I will be on stand number 215.
New in the shop this week at 26 Bailgate is an exciting range of jewellery by Nottingham designer Jo Want - Hello Sunshine. Jo makes a great range of die cut wood and acrylic pieces depicting birds, trees and cuckoo clocks, they really are delightful and very reasonably priced, starting at just £9.99 for a pair of swallow studs!! Bespoke framed maps of anywhere in the world by Bombus are just in and looking fantastic and I am just about to unpack a box of delights from ceramic artist Katie Almond, photos to follow.
Oh happy days!!
